Last Saturday my niece, Lily had her birthday party at a pool in Orem. Broc had to work so no pool fun for him that day. Gotta love maternity swim suits...the last week my baby bump has gotten a little bigger each day! At the B-day party I was 22 weeks along.

Happy MCAT Day!!!
On Monday after we got home from Broc's cousin's birthday celebration. He decided to check his MCAT scores. He wasn't expecting them to be posted until Tuesday after 5:00 pm....but there they were!!! He got a 34M which places him in the top 91-93.6%. HOORAY for Broc! We were both so excited! The stress of that test is over! Now he can finish sending in all his Medical School applications. Really his face in the pictures says it all....what a relief! He always said he would be happy with a 33....so a 34 was fabulous! What a good start to the week!

Home Owners Association...
On Friday night we received a call from one of my favorite people in the world...informing us that we were in violation of the Home Owners Association Rules and Regulations. Apparently the neighborhood has been calling in VERY concerned about the state of our yard. Thankfully, this dear friends husband, is on the board of the HOA...in fact her uncle is in charge of the HOA since he developed the area...and so she was able to spare us the letter and fines that normally occur. We were not even aware that our neigborhood had an HOA.
So Friday morning, Broc and I were up bright and early, to work on the yard (One side note though: if this yard was anywhere in else...it would not be violating any codes...there are FAR worse yards out there in Sandy). At 7:00 am we were out in the yard attempting to recover the sprinklers...who knew you have to dig around them and keep the grass from growing around them every month or so...we sure didn't so the majority of our sprinklers were completly covered by grass and not spraying water very well. The funniest part of the day was us (and by us I mean mostly me...at 5 months pregnant) running around the yard throwing pinecones at the sprinklers (while they were on) in order to mark them and be able to find them again to dig around them. By the end of the event we were both completely soaked through and through. But, all sprinklers were marked and accounted for and now our lawn can be a nice and luscious green. I don't think I will ever forget Broc and I hoovered over one small patch on the grass attempting to locate a sprinkler head...for the third time...and just looking at each other and saying "oh shoot" and laughing as we went to turn on the sprinklers again to find the one sprinkler that did not want to be found!!!
Thankfully, Conner and Aaron, arrived around 10:30 to help with weeding, edging, trimming, and all that fun stuff while my mom and I attacked the inside of the house. All in out it was a VERY productive day and we got a lot done. We still have more to do...but the worst is out of the way. Broc and I, now think that we want astro turf in our yard...or nothing! We are not much of yard people. :)
