We have returned from Bear Lake! On the drive home we counted that this is our 4th year being up there over the 4th of July. Every year Broc's Grandma rents a condo on the beach for us all to go up and enjoy. There is always lots of food, sun, water sports, games, and golf! As well as lots of just relaxing!!!
This was Titan's 1st ever Bear Lake. He was the BEST boy as usual. Even with limited sleep and being surrounded by 25+ people every day. He was a sweetheart~The only time he really fussed was when I walked in or out of a room and was not the one holding him...starting to become a little bit of a momma's boy. He would calm down right away though after I had disappeared, so all was good.
Highlights of the trip were:
*Our song and dance tribute to Michael Jackson during the family talent show that words cannot describe.
*The orange matching family shirts.
*Titan's 1st fast boat ride~he slept through it ALL!!!
*Titan's 1st experience with a life jacket. He did not know what to do. He kept looking at us like "Okay what did I do to deserve this?!?" With his arms sticking straight out and none of his neck showing and him all tense it was pretty funny.
*My brillant quote while lounging on the boat ~ " I could lay out here until it's dark...or at least until the sun goes down". What I meant was until it got cold?!?
*Titan loved the sand and the playing in it!!! He loved to kick his feet in it and even tried to eat it.
*The ice cream! There is a place to get ice cream like 20 steps out our front door. So yummy!!!
*Tubbing with Broc. Our bodies are definitely getting older than our minds. We were both super sore after.
And of course just getting to spend lots of time as a family!
