Love at 1st Sight

So I fell in love with the above turquoise ball ornaments from Z Gallery last night. Love is an understatement. Broc was laughing at me last night because I saw them and within minutes had a whole christmas tree theme planned around them!!! I would do a Tiffany's Peacock Tree (or something like that - name still needs work) complete with Tiffany jewelry boxes, jewels, peacocks, etc.

Now I just need a place to put my christmas tree. I guess it will have to wait another year until we are in a home/apartment of our own.

Until then though, I may just go pick up a few of these beauties and catalog the idea away for that day. :)

Poor Broc I have already told him to plan on having more than one Christmas Tree in our house and for there to be a new one every year (well once we are no longer starving students)...LOL

Titan's 1st Haircut

Our little man is growing up!!! We finally had to chop and even out all that baby hair. Our little blondie now has a "do".

BEFORE
AFTER
(So not sure the why the face in the above or even the below picture. Just some of his many faces I guess!!! LOL)

(Was a little unsure at first...but warmed up quickly!)

OK... I am waaaaayyyy behind on blogging. It has been a SUPER crazy and eventful week. So the next few blogs will be out of order but...you get what you get...

Last Saturday I decided our little man needed a haircut BAD!!! So I scheduled an appt. and took him to Cookie Cutters. He loved it...I loved it....so it was a win win situation. He got to watch Baby Einstein, drive his airplane, get a balloon (which he loved hitting all the way home, SO CUTE!!!) and he even got a certificate with his picture and a lock of his hair. It was a great experience and we will definitely be returning to Cookie Cutters for all our future little man's haircut needs. :)

***I tried scanning the the certificate (it actually contains the best picture, but experienced technical difficulties. If I can ever figure it out I will add it soon!***

Gardner Village

Every Fall I LOVE to visit Gardner Village. It's so fun to walk through the shops, see all the witches, get a yummy treat and just enjoy the Fall colors and weather. It has now become a family tradition with my side of the family and this is our 3rd year going. You can't have a more fun night...and it's all free, making it even better!!! (Well other than our $3.48 dinner) :)

We went last night and the weather was perfect. Titan loved see all the Witches and just being outside in general. He is going to be a sad little boy when the freezing weather comes! He spent most of the time with Broc riding around in his stroller while I went into the shops with my family and their kids. Broc could care less about the shopping aspect!!! :)

I absolutely LOVE October and last night was a perfect October night!!! The only downside is seeing all the Halloween Decorations and Home Decor in general, made me long for a home of our own for me to decorate...maybe next year! Right now we are having to rent a storage shed and the majority of the shed is filled with all my Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas decorations. Hopefully one day they will be able to come out of storage and be put to good use!!! LOL

Oh and while we were there...I saw this bedding that I went banana's over. It had three different prints: zebra, stripes, and damask and was in browns and greens. It was out of control and I wanted to buy it all and take it home right then...then I remember that I have a husband to put through medical school. Dang it!!! I took a picture from outside since they wouldn't let me take one inside. :) I just might have to go back and purchase it with my christmas money...if I can get Broc to agree to an advance loan on my christmas money...LOL

CHOCOLATE!!!

I while I was doing my last post with all the photo's from Cornbellie's Titan was playing with his basket of toys that is next to the computer desk. By playing I mean dumping everything out of the basket...then out of my diaper bag...then out of another basket...then finally finding a toy he wanted. One big mess = One contented baby boy who is learning to entertain himself.

Well I got engrossed in doing what I was doing and pretty soon and thought hmmm....it's kinda quiet. I look down to see the following:

(Now that's a look drunk from chocolate!!!)

Titan stuffing his face with chocolate!!! He had found a Hershey's almond toffee chocolate treasure that had fallen off the desk and since he couldn't get the wrapper off he decided to suck the chocolate out of the wrapper instead. He was in HEAVEN to say the least! My initial reaction was to take it away, but then it was just too funny and needed to be document with photos! Titan has had tiny tidbits of chocolate before but nothing like this!!! He loved it and apparently takes after his mom when it comes to sweets!!! Where there is a will there is a way. Funny, thing is as I was saying his name to get him to look at the camera he kept jumping and trying to hide the chocolate. I am sure he was thinking "this is so good it has to be bad!". Truthfully we don't get him a lot of sugar...in fact hardly any...but one treat won't hurt!!! :)

Las Vegas

Broc was asked to interview last Monday at a medical school in Henderson, NV and Tuesday happened to be our 3rd anniversary so we decided to turn the trip into a trip for our anniversary and enjoy some time in Las Vegas the weekend before. It was so nice to get away, spend time together, eat at yummy restaurants, shop, lay out by the pool, see some movies, go bowling, and celebrate 3 years together!!! We contemplated leaving Ti Guy home but since he is such an AWESOME traveller and really a near perfect baby we decided he could tag along!!! :) He loved all the lights and sounds of Vegas...plus the 24/7 undivided attention of his mom and dad!!!

Enjoy some highlights from the trip....

Are we done traveling yet?!? Taking a break, stretching out in the front seat while getting snacks. (Little man needs a haircut!!!)
Only pic of the two of us. We are never very good at these shots. Our arms are too short or something!!!

Watching the water show at the hotel (Bellagio).
"Whoa...Fire!!!"
Titan watching the show in Caesar's.
In Caesar's by the large aquarium after dinner.
"Hmmm....where to start first???
Titan entertaining and smiling at the tables around us. He had quite the crowd by the time we were done eating.
We went to Cheesecake Factory for one of our dinners and had an AH-mazing server. She totally took care of us and even brought Ti this food plate along with some mashed potatoes later. She definitely knows how to get a good tip. Feed the baby...keep him entertained...and let the parents enjoy their meal!!! She was so sweet to bring this for Titan. First restaurant where Titan has gotten his own plate...and for free non the less.
Helping mommy bowl.
So gross! Apparently he thought the bowling ball was pretty tasty! Yuck!!!
Ti Guy watching Dad
Love him!!!
Broc only had the socks he had brought to go with his suit so we were both sporting some pretty awesome socks!!!
My .70 cent socks from Target. We wanted to go bowling but I had not brought socks and we were not about to pay $4 for a pair from the vending machine so we tracked down a Target and found these on clearance.
Stretching our legs at some exit. Titan with a straw...loves chewing on straws.
Chillin with Dad
Titan helping us pack. As I would put the stuff in the suitcases he would pull it right back out...then I guess he just decided to climb in himself...wanted to make sure he got to go too!

***So I uploaded the pics in reverse order?!? Oops!!!***
